Civil War Diary of Frederick L. Thayer

The autobiography of a women who lived from 1902-2004. She wrote this book in 1992 just prior to her 90th birthday. Born in Nova Scotia and moved to the PNW at a very young age. I'm her Great Great Grandson just getting this published for our family to read and have.

The names of many of the characters in the story are the neighbors and shirttail relatives I knew or heard about from my mother and her siblings. Some characters are real with fictitious names; some characters are fictitious with names of real people. I played with Sandra Rae and Mickey Wells, and Barbara Ann Bennington. Wendell Patterson took me for a short ride on his two-wheeler bicycle when I was four. Lucille Patterson Mauk was my mom’s best friend since early childhood.
